Matthew Collings BSCAA Board Of Directors

Matthew Collings, President 

Matthew Collings has over twenty years of experience within the Commercial Cleaning industry. He is the owner and CEO of Collings Property Services and provides leadership, strategic direction and overall governance to the company. Matthew started out in the industry by working on the tools as a cleaner while undertaking his degree at university. He later moved into the role of Operation Manager assisting his father run the business. He later purchased the business in 2010 and took over running the business.

Matthew has been on the Tasmanian board since 2012, holding the position of President from 2012 to 2018. Matthew is also the current Treasurer for BSCAA National.

Throughout his career, Matthew has always been extremely passionate about the industry. His goal is to improve the industry so it is more equitable for all.

Jason Rigby BSCAA Board Of Directors

Jason Rigby, Vice President 

Jason Rigby is a Director of Tasmanian-based company, General and Window Cleaning. He joined the business three years ago after previously working in the liquor business looking after the on-premise trade.

Jason joined the BSCAA Tasmanian branch two years ago to further develop his knowledge of the industry and to help stamp out issues the industry faces. He firmly believes that all employees deserve to be paid and treated fairly.

He is now the Vice President of the Tasmanian branch and is looking to continue his position as the industry grows from strength to strength.

Phillip Murfett – Treasurer

Phillip Murfett has been involved in the cleaning industry for over 29 years. He is a Director of Launceston Cleaning Services, a locally-owned company established in 1972. Phillip has been actively involved with BSCAA Tasmania since 2012.

Phillip joined the BSCAA Tasmania to be an advocate for a level playing field within the cleaning industry. His experience in the industry ranges from contract cleaning, window & carpet cleaning, to construction cleaning. Workplace safety is high on his agenda, and proficient and effective communication with all stakeholders.

His extensive experience and knowledge of the cleaning industry are invaluable assets to the BSCAA Tasmania branch.
