Sally Capp AO

Former Lord Mayor of Melbourne

Sally Capp is one of Victoria’s most influential leaders, with a career spanning government and business. She made history as Melbourne’s first directly elected female Lord Mayor, steering the city through the COVID-19 pandemic and championing governance, ESG, and stakeholder engagement.

Her leadership journey includes serving as Victoria’s Agent-General to the UK, Europe and Israel, CEO of the Committee for Melbourne, and senior roles at KPMG and ANZ. Sally also co-founded and listed a company on the ASX and remains a passionate advocate for community and philanthropy.

Liz Slavin

Head of Colleague Partners, Governance & Planning at AustralianSuper

Liz is currently Head of Colleague Partners, Governance and Planning, at AustralianSuper. She is an experienced People and Culture leader who loves to bring a commercial and pragmatic bend to developing and implementing business strategies.

She has worked across a number of industries and geographies and has learned a great deal from these experiences. Liz is also passionate about developing future People and Culture leaders.

This year’s IWD theme, “Give to Gain,” reflects Sally’s leadership philosophy, sharing knowledge, building connections, and creating impact through collaboration.
