BSCAA is pleased to present Mark Diamond, Workplace Advisory Group who will discuss the new Industrial Relations laws effective 26 August 2024.
- “Right to Disconnect” – As outlined in the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), some employees will have the freedom to disregard phone calls, emails, text messages, and other work-related communications outside their designated working hours.
- “Casual Engagement” – The new definition of ‘casual employee’ has been introduced, along with a pathway for casuals seeking permanent roles.
